NATA has options in place to assist members who may be going through an economic hardship. Don't let money get in the way of investing in yourself or the future of your profession. Help us help you.

  • All memberships expire on December 31, 2024.
  • Preferred billing address determines your district and state affiliations.
  • Membership to NATA include membership at the national, district and state levels; members with an international address do not receive state and district membership. If total membership dues are not paid in full by January 31, 2024, all membership benefits will be suspended until payment is received.
  • For D1, D2, D3, D8, D9, and D10 district dues include up to $5 of District Contributions to the NATA Research & Education Foundation.
  • Per Bylaws Article 3, Section 3.5 and 3.6, dues are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
  • Payments to NATA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes but may be deductible as a business expense. Approximately 6% of dues are allocated for lobbying. NATA's Federal Tax ID is # 75-2575595.


Discounts

Career Starter Discount

A newly Certified Professional member will receive a reduction in dues for the first full billing cycle following certification. The maximum number of years to receive this discount is one and you must be within one year of your certification date.


Certified Military Deployment Discount

A Certified member in the Reserves who submits proof of active military service may request the Certified Military Deployment discount. The maximum number of years to receive this discount is two years.

 

NATA Membership Justification Letter Templates Available

The NATA Connection and Engagement Committee has developed two justification letter templates that athletic trainers can use when requesting funding support for their NATA membership. One template is designed for clinicians, while the other is designed for those in higher education. The templates can be downloaded and modified to fit your and your employer’s needs.
